NAISA Radio Dipping into Mannlicher Archives

NAISA (New Adventures in Sound Art) recently started broadcasting archival Mannlicher Carcano Radio Hour transcriptions on their internet radio station NAISA Radio every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 4 PM EST (That's 1 PM PST and 10 PM in Groningen). Mon and Tues are rebroadcasts of recent programs, while Weds is a deep dive. From their site:

16:00 (Mon – Wed) – Mannlicher Carcano Radio Hour Archives

NAISA Radio is re-broadcasting past radio shows by Mannlicher Carcano for CHMR in St. John’s, NL. Mannlicher Carcano is an improvisational audio collage and radio art collective that coalesced in the mid-1980’s out of a number of new music, sound art, and post-punk experiments. They have been performing and recording regularly for over 40 years, in spite of not living in the same city for the last 35. Mixing original materials with appropriated sounds, images, objects, and text taken from corporately owned mass culture and the world around them, Mannlicher Carcano re-arranges these found bits and pieces to make them say and suggest things that they never intended to.

Our IT team believe this is a radio player that will play the NAISA Radio stream:
